Charity Nominations Open for Just Dogs Live 2020
Just Dogs Live has opened nominations for the charities it will be supporting this year’s show. In 2019 after admin costs all of the money raised was donated Animal Helpline and Pets as Therapy with each charity receiving £500.
Pamela Newbould, Show Manager for Just Dogs Live explained, “This year we wanted to let those who have supported the show choose the charities we will be supporting. We make a small charge for each dog that attends the show as a visitor and all of the money raised is shared equally between the charities we are supporting.”
For 2020 the show is looking for two local canine charities! The nominations can be made on Facebook by writing a comment on the ‘Charity Suggestions’ post, stating your favourite canine charity.

Animal Helpline is a dog rescue which takes in unwanted pets/strays and re-homes them to loving new owners.
Pets As Therapy is a national charity founded in 1983 by Lesley Scott-Ordish to enhance health and wellbeing in the community through the visits of trusted volunteers with their behaviourally assessed animals. It provides a visiting service in hospitals, hospices, nursing and care homes, special needs schools and a variety of other venues all across the UK.
“We look forward to receiving the nominations for 2020 and helping two more deserving charities,” concluded Newbould.
Closing date for nominations will be the 28th March 2020.
