Martin Hill Photography Competition Winner Announced

We are delighted to announce the winner of the Martin Hill Photography Competition to win a free days photo shoot with the man himself.

Wow what great selection of entries again this year!

Martin has finally managed to reduce the number down to the overall winner with four highly commended being included for the first time because the quality was so high. The overall winner will receive a free photoshoot with Martin.

And, due to the high quality of entries for this year, Martin has agreed that if the four highly commended entries can come to his stand at the show where he will take a portrait shot of each dog.

Because the competition this year was so close, and it took some time to decide, Martin has added a few sentences for each of the selected images to explain what made them special for him, so here goes:

The winner and the dog that will be the face of Just Dogs Live 2020:

Carl Norman: The winning entry stood out from the rest with a creative streak of using a grass covered dog as a podium which brings a little comedy into the picture. Your eye is drawn to the dogs eyes and the timing of the photo is right on the mark, with the dogs ears up and alert as its is focusing on something by the camera!

Highly Commended:

Frank: This is a great example of how happy dogs are when they get on the beach, wind through their fur and big smile on their face!

Bernice Emanuel : What a heart melting image! Well placed subject in the image and great use of the surrounding plants to help frame the subject.

Jack: What a cheeky chap and look at those ears! Loved the pose and the tilted head look of Jack and did I mention… those ears!!

Tracey Prike: this sums up our four legged friends, their companionship with each other and how they can relax and take over our sofas!

Why not treat your best friend to a fun filled day out
